Social Software Literacy was a great choice

I am at work and I just got out from a presentation about the next SirsiDynix “Symphony” client. The presenter talked about all the upgrades that SirsiDnix adding to the new client such as social tagging and RSS feeds. Many of them did not like the idea without understanding the benefits for the users.I am glad that I decided to take this class. I did not think it will make much difference for me at work, but I see that it already did. I was sitting very comfortably during the presentation since I understood what was going on. I was not bored like usual by listening to information that I did not relate to like usual.
Thanks Steve.

Group 4 wiki

Click on the Super Heroes of Social Software wiki and check it. I had a lot of fun creating this wiki with my group. I learned from my mistakes and by experimenting with wiki. I also learned new things from my group members. I hope you will enjoy our wiki too.

Learning, Knowledge, Information

My comments on Brown’s Chapter 5 Learning in theory and practice.
•A person learns for a need.
•Knowledge is what people learn from each other.
•Information is how people communicate and share information with each other.
